Furniture is missing or the wrong type

What you see

A sofa, bed, table or cabinet doesn't show up on the plan, or shows up as the wrong kind of item.

Why it happens

Furniture is recognized from its shape, which needs a clear look from the side. Items that are partly hidden, pushed into a corner or oddly shaped are easy to miss or mix up.

How to fix

1. While scanning, show large furniture from the side for a moment so it lands on the plan.
2. To fix it afterwards, open the scan and tap Floor plan. Tap Select, then tap the item. Delete it from the bar that appears, or open the inspector and tap Replace… to pick the right type.
3. For something that's missing, tap the + button (Add furniture) and pick it from the list.
