360° videos get a full studio. Set the look with studio lights, floor shadows and reflections, and brand backgrounds. Add your logo, title, price and opening and closing cards. Export several files at once: MP4 up to 4K and 60 fps, GIF sized to a target, transparent PNG cut-outs and 360° spin image sets. Save presets, or set your own camera path.

Space scans look sharper: photos now line up more closely with the model, with less ghosting.

Remove support: a new cleanup tool for Object scans takes away the table or stand your object was sitting on, and can close the bottom for you. Red shows what will go, and you can tap to keep any part.

Process and export in batches with Pro: select several scans in your library to process them one after another in a queue, or export them all as one .zip with a folder per scan, ready for AirDrop.

Print in 3D can now hollow your model to save resin, with drain holes placed automatically or exactly where you tap.

Process in one tap: Puracam remembers the settings you used last time.

Plus USDZ models that look right in AR Quick Look, Object thumbnails that show the whole model, and other fixes and improvements.

Object scanning, upgraded. A guided three-step capture walks you around the object, up higher, and underneath, with a photo counter that shows the minimum and maximum, a tilt guide, and a point-cloud preview before you build. Low-light warnings help you get a clean model.

New Area mode for things you can't walk around, like reliefs or objects against a wall.

Ready to sell: export presets for Shopify, Amazon and the web, with realistic surface detail (normal and ambient occlusion maps) in GLB, glTF, USDZ, OBJ and FBX.

New in Share: Print in 3D closes holes, flattens the base and exports 3MF or STL at real size. Product photos renders six clean angles on a white or transparent background. Copy an embed code to show your model on your own website.

A redesigned editor: tools now sit in a compact row of icons with labels, so more of your model stays on screen. Undo and redo show what they change, and you're asked to save before leaving.

Better cleanup: the crop box can now remove what's inside it, removing the base leaves a flat, clean edge, and Remove floor no longer misses part of the floor.

Turntable videos: choose the size and color of the dimension labels.

Home: scans waiting to be processed now appear in a scrollable In progress row.

Version 1.4

Share a link: send any scan as a web link. Anyone can open the 3D model and floor plan in a browser — no app needed — or scan the QR code. Links last 7 days, or 30 days with Pro, and you can delete one at any time in Settings › Shared links.

Editable links: turn on "Let recipients edit in Puracam" and people who have the app can save their own copy to measure, edit and export.

Puracam files: send a scan straight to another iPhone or iPad by AirDrop, Messages, Mail or Files. No internet needed, and it never expires.

One Share screen: links, Puracam files, file export and turntable video now live in a single Share sheet, the same from the library and from the 3D viewer.

For Pro: password-protected links, renewals, view counts, and a business card that puts your name, company and logo on every page you share.

Scanning: the green mesh you see while scanning is easier to read — surfaces hidden behind others no longer show through. Also fixed gaps that could appear in walls and ceilings when tracking jumped during a scan.

Plus a clearer Free and Pro comparison, confirmation prompts that stay in the middle of the screen, and other fixes.

Version 1.3

Edit floor plans in 3D: switch the floor plan from 2D to 3D and keep working on the model itself. Drag and rotate furniture, pull its handles to change width, depth, height and mounting height, and drop in new pieces. Slide doors and windows along a wall, resize them, and set a window's sill height.

Select several pieces at once: pick them one by one or grab a whole row of touching pieces, then move, duplicate or delete them together. Furniture now snaps against other furniture and lines up with pieces across the room, in 2D and 3D.

How-to videos: a short video for each scan mode — Space, Object and Floor Plan — shows exactly how to move. It plays before your first scan in each mode, and you can watch it again from the new Learn section on Home or in the Guide.

Leaving a scan: closing a Space scan in progress now lets you save it, restart it or discard it.

Getting started is steadier: a "Hold steady" prompt covers the moment between tapping Scan and the first captured frame.

Object scans: step-by-step prompts on the scan screen, and a fix for a crash when turning the object over to capture its underside.

Floor plans: tap a piece of furniture in the 3D view to select it, thin wall-mounted pieces are easier to select and drag, and lengths in feet and inches are rounded correctly — type a length with its unit, such as 12'6" or 3.2 m.

Version 1.2.1

Try before you buy: the model editing tools and the floor plan editor are now free to use. Export your floor plan as a PDF to scale or a PNG at no cost. Pro is only needed to save model edits, to export plans as SVG, DXF, CSV or JSON, and to remove the watermark.

Wall-mounted furniture: add upper cabinets, range hoods, a wall TV, shelves, mirrors, lamps and more at their real mounting height. Puracam warns you when a piece would cover a door or window, and DXF exports keep each height.

Getting started: a short guided tour helps you pick the right scan mode for your work, and the scanner now opens in that mode. Tips point out the key tools the first time you meet them, and you can replay the tour anytime from Settings.

Version 1.2

Object scan: a new mode for small things. Circle an object and Puracam builds a detailed 3D model with Apple Object Capture, shows its real width, depth and height, and lets you clean it up in a few taps. Your first 10 object scans are free, with every export format.

Floor plan editor: move and draw walls, add doors, windows, dividers and columns, and furnish rooms from a catalog of more than 90 pieces that snap to the walls. Overlay your 3D scan to line walls up with what was measured.

Better floor plan exports: PDF to true scale with a title block and schedules, CSV schedules, JSON, and a much richer DXF for CAD.

Rooms in 3D now have wood floors, real furniture models and soft shadows. Make a 360° video of any scan and save it to Photos.

Library: filter by kind and organise scans into folders.

iPad: new sidebar and landscape support.

Floor plans: switch to Floor Plan mode, scan a room, and get a clean 2D plan with walls, doors, windows, dimensions and furniture symbols. Export as PDF, PNG, SVG or DXF (Pro).

A redesigned scan screen: one shutter button to start, pause and resume, plus a mode switcher for 3D Scan and Floor Plan.

Scanning is one tap away from the Home screen, and Puracam now lets you know when an update is available.
