Using Puracam without LiDAR

3D scanning needs the LiDAR sensor, found on iPhone 12 Pro and later Pro models, and on iPad Pro 2020 and later. On other devices you can still open Puracam files people share with you.

Steps

1. Tap the Puracam file in Messages, Mail or Files and open it in Puracam.
2. Or, in the app, tap Open a Puracam file on Home, or tap + in your Library and choose Import Puracam file…. If you closed the banner on Home, the Library way still works.
3. Once it's open, you can look around it in 3D and measure it.
4. Links shared from Puracam open in any web browser, so you don't need the app to view them.
